Sledding.... Fun and Dangerous

Well we went sledding and had a lot of fun. We went down the great big hill, and our favorite was the small jump. We had fun slidding down on our bellies and just being with each other doing something that is thrilling. However on the very last sled ride down the hill to the car, Brinley and Kelsie were on a sled together. Brinley in back Kels in front. They were going very fast and they hit a little bump, Brin tried stopping them with her foot which turned them backwards as they hit the bump the flipped over onto their bellies. Kelsie landing first and Brinley ontop of Kelsie. Kelsie stood up screaming and with a bloody nose. We rushed her to the car and she had a big bump on one side of her nose and a little swelling. So we took her to the doctor just to be safe and cautious.. well it turns out Kelsie's nose was broken. Kelsie was very brave and handled it all well. She was told she would go black and blue and get more swollen but so far she hasn't. So please pray that it will heal well and not cause her problems. By the way this summer all the kids were playing and Brayden and Brinley rammed into each other causing brayden a broken collar bone. So as you can imagine both were accidents but poor little Brinely feels bad cause now 2 cousins have had broken bones... :) kind of funny but to Brinley not so much!!
